The 2014 Stanley Cup Finals saw the return of the 2012 Champs the LA Kings as they took on the New York Rangers, marking the 7th straight Finals to feature an Original 6 team. The Kings were lead into the finals by none other than Mr. Game 7 himself Justin Williams, having helped his team Win 3 straight Game 7s and all on the road. The Rangers had been carried to the Finals on the back of Henrik Lundqvist and it would show in the finals as the Kings were just too much for the Rangers to handle and they were able to hoist the Cup in Game 5 of the Finals. Williams would earn himself his first Conn Smyth Aware as the playoff MVP.
