CoolHockey Proudly Honours Black History Month

During Black History Month, we celebrate the resiliency and vast contributions the Black community have made to not just the hockey community, but our society as a whole. As we consider the ongoing struggles and efforts for racial equality, CoolHockey vows use our platform to acknowledge the importance of allyship, fostering inclusion and celebrating Black excellence within our sport.

CoolHockey is proud to announce that 25% of all profits made from jersey sales in our Black History Month Collection starting today (February 23rd) until the end of the month will be donated to the Hockey Diversity Alliance.

The Hockey Diversity Alliance (HDA) a non-profit founded by 8 current and former NHL players, all people of color. With a clear goal of eradicating racism at all levels of hockey, the HDA operates through advocacy and by creating opportunities and access to participation for new immigrants, BIPOC populations, and other marginalized groups.
In addition to reducing barriers such as cost and access for hundreds of kids, the HDA aims to inspire the next generation through the stories and experiences of their founders; and utilize our platform to advocate for systemic change to make hockey more welcoming for all. You can learn more about the HDA at their website, hockeydiversityalliance.org
